About Amanda
Amanda Nephew is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Northwestern-St Paul. With over 15 years of professional experience in the mental health field, her focus is to provide individual, couple, premarital, and family therapy.
“I’ve been in the mental health field since 2005 and opened Amanda Nephew Therapy Services in 2012. Most people seek help because they are hurting, frustrated and desperate for something to change. Other times people reach out for help when life is feeling stable and they just want to feel even better. Either way, as your therapist or coach, I see my role as coming alongside to enable you to tell your story, explore its meaning and help you change it - whether that be individually or relationally. Through the use of a therapeutic relationship and a blend of techniques, I’ve had the honor of being a catalyst of change for men, women, couples, and children to help strengthen relationships, heal old wounds, explore current life issues and help change negative patterns.”
